Today he provides senior-level advisory and strategic guidance to the senior leadership team and clients, helping align technical design with business objectives and regulatory requirements. Rod’s deep expertise spans project conceptualization, cost frameworks, regulatory pathways, and execution strategy with an eye to reducing risk and driving value. Known for his collaborative, practical approach, Rod has overseen some of Western Canada’s most complex pipeline and facilities projects, offering insight at every stage from feasibility to commissioning. His leadership continues to define Lauren’s culture of responsiveness, adaptability, and trusted client partnership across both traditional and transitional energy markets.

Dustin has built a strong leadership team and is widely recognized for his ability to strengthen client relationships, ensuring Lauren delivers consistent value on complex projects across Canada and the U.S. With extensive hands-on experience leading major energy infrastructure programs, Dustin combines technical insight with business acumen to guide projects from concept through execution. With more than 20 years of experience in energy and industrial infrastructure, he has led multidisciplinary teams through every phase of execution, ensuring schedule certainty, cost discipline, and alignment with client goals. A founder of Lauren’s Vancouver office, Fletcher is recognized for driving project management excellence and embedding the processes that define the “Lauren Way”, a culture of ownership, accountability, and responsiveness. His senior leadership blends technical expertise with a focus on people development and team integration. Committed to client success, Fletcher ensures every project reflects Lauren’s reputation for execution discipline and long-term partnership.

As Senior Director of Business Development, Bob Prasad builds and sustains the client relationships that drive Lauren’s growth across North America’s energy infrastructure sector. With 36 years of experience spanning upstream, midstream, and downstream oil and gas, pipelines, and industrial projects, Bob brings deep technical knowledge and commercial insight to every engagement.

Over 16 years focused on business development, Bob has originated and guided multi-million-dollar projects from opportunity through execution. His leadership in EPCM and EPC delivery has established trusted partnerships with major clients including Shell, Chevron, Enbridge, Pembina, Kinder Morgan, FortisBC, and Syncrude. Bob’s ability to translate client challenges into practical solutions—combined with his technical background—has made him a valued advisor on complex, high-stakes projects. A Registered Engineering and Technology Management Professional, Bob holds credentials from BCIT and Kwantlen Polytechnic University in Civil & Electrical Engineering Technology and Construction Management.

Irina Be’eri has more than 20 years of experience in business and corporate development within the oil and gas industry, with exposure across upstream, midstream, and downstream markets. She is recognized for her ability to align technical expertise with corporate and commercial strategy to support the successful delivery of complex energy projects.

Irina holds an Executive MBA from the Haskayne School of Business, strengthening her ability to connect engineering execution with business objectives. Throughout her career, Irina has played a key role in advancing strategic initiatives, cultivating long-term client relationships, and driving sustainable value for organizations.

Christina has over 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, 13 of which have been spent at Lauren.

As the Director of Design Services at Lauren, Christina is a driven and hard-working individual, always striving to improve processes and procedures to increase efficiencies. She has both local Canadian and international experience. Christina leads her team to provide exceptional drafting and design support, prioritizing schedules and drafting standards to ensure successful project outcomes.

Graham Pavlik, P.ENG, PMP

Director, Project Management Office (PMO)

Based in Kelowna, Graham Pavlik leads Lauren’s Project Management and Project Engineering teams, ensuring disciplined execution and consistent delivery across the firm’s portfolio of energy infrastructure projects. He establishes the frameworks, standards, and controls that enable project teams to deliver complex work on time, on budget, and to specification.

With over 10 years of project management experience in oil and gas, Graham has led pipeline, facility, and refinery projects from concept through commissioning. His pipeline expertise spans 2″ to 36″ diameter systems across BC, Alberta, and Ontario, including design to CSA Z662 standards, stress analysis, procurement, and cost estimating. Graham’s two years as an owner’s representative at Chevron Canada’s Burnaby refinery provided firsthand insight into client priorities and the intersection of design, operations, and maintenance—experience that informs his approach to project delivery and client service today.

As the Director of Corporate Services, Steven Bergen leads Lauren’s HR, IT, and operations functions, executing on the firm’s overall vision and growth strategy. He ensures the infrastructure, systems, and teams are in place to support Lauren’s ambitious expansion across North America while maintaining operational excellence and the culture that defines the firm.

With over 10 years as a pipeline engineer and project manager in oil and gas, Steven also serves as a key client account manager—a role that leverages his technical depth and project integration experience. He has guided projects through feasibility, FEED, and detailed design for natural gas and multi-product liquids transmission pipelines up to NPS 20, working across OGC, AER, and NEB-regulated systems. Steven’s experience managing integrated project teams—coordinating lands, regulatory, archaeological, environmental, procurement, and construction disciplines—developed his ability to see projects holistically and anticipate client needs, making him particularly effective in translating complex technical requirements into clear project strategies for clients.

Charbel is equally focused on building capability within his teams, mentoring the next generation of engineers and embedding a culture of excellence.

Charbel’s approach to engineering leadership emphasizes efficiency and innovation. He has driven significant cost reductions for clients through process improvements, automation, and IT integration, including reducing engineering and drafting costs by 15% through shared database implementation and cutting overhead on major power generation projects by 10%, effectively accelerating ROI by two years. His work helps clients navigate the demands of a rapidly evolving energy sector with confidence, delivering projects that meet today’s requirements while anticipating tomorrow’s challenges.

He has held senior roles on both the owner and EPC sides, directing large-scale projects across the petrochemical, LNG, gas, chemical, and power sectors. As Project Director, Claudio provides unmatched expertise in managing complex engineering, procurement, and construction programs, with a steadfast commitment to safety, quality, and delivery excellence. His track record spans multibillion-dollar projects and diverse geographies, giving him the perspective to navigate technical, commercial, and cultural challenges with confidence. With over 15 years of experience across the energy industry, spanning projects of varying size, scale, and location, Manuel brings a comprehensive understanding of what it takes to keep complex work on track. His career has taken him from France to Fort McMurray and ultimately to Calgary, the center of Canada’s energy sector, where he’s developed deep expertise in the cost and schedule management that separates high-performing projects from the rest. Manuel’s focus on accuracy, accountability, and proactive problem-solving helps project teams anticipate challenges and make informed decisions that protect both timelines and budgets.

As a partner at Lauren and founder of Vera Causa, a Calgary-based marketing communications agency, Katie brings both agency-side creativity and in-house strategic thinking to her role. Her experience spanning multiple industries gives her a fresh perspective on how Lauren can differentiate itself in a competitive market, while her deep understanding of the firm’s technical strengths ensures messaging stays grounded in what Lauren actually delivers.
